Judge Ferozan Easar Qasimi, who until last year sat in the Kabul Primary Court on civil matters. She has written on women’s human rights issues and will be sharing her experiences from Afghanistan both before and after Taliban rule.





     Lord (David) Anderson of Ipswich KBE KC, a practising member of Brick Court Chambers in London (tweeting as @bricksilk), a cross-bench peer in the UK’s House of Lords and a member of the Courts of Appeal of Guernsey and Jersey. He served from 2011-2017 as the UK’s Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation and chairs the peace-building charity Inter Mediate, the UCL European Institute and (with Bob Neill MP) the All-Party Parliamentary Group on the Rule of Law.
   
 
William Robinson, a senior litigation partner based in our London office. During his illustrious career, William has spent considerable periods working in each of Luxembourg (at the European Court of Justice), Hong Kong (where he led Freshfields’ Asia disputes practice and was our Hong Kong managing partner) and London.
